About Me

I am a follower of Jesus who just happened to be called into the pastorate almost 15 years ago. As an ordained Elder in the Church of the Nazarene I have come to learn how much I really don’t know, and my desire is to continue to grow to become like Jesus, in the process leading others to do the same. He and His teachings have radically changed my life, and continue to do so every day and I want all to experience that joy for themselves.

I am a husband to Kim, my beautiful wife of 20+ years, a father to four amazing children, and we are privileged to lead a wonderful church family here in Alliance, OH at the Alliance COTN, or Allnaz, for short.

I am a runner, and completed my first marathon in September 2015, along with two halfs and several shorter races. I would love to run more fulls in the future, as well as a 50k and a Ragnar relay race. I also plan to train for my first triathlon in 2016, with the distance yet to be determined.

Finally, I am a middle-aged paper boy, hence the title of this blog, which is primarily made of of my exploits, learnings and reflections as I deliver each day, as well as things that pop onto my brain from time to time.

I hope you come to know Christ thru this blog if you don’t already, and if you do I hope you come to know Him better.

Blessings.
